We have the pleasure to invite you to a conference at the European Parliament office in Athens (Amalias Avenue 8) on Friday, May 31 2013. This expert and policy-making conference will be centered on “How we can provide access to affordable medicines in Greece?”

The victim (14 years old)  is supported by Doctors of the World-Greek Delegation in the framework of the action ENOUGH!  (an action dedicated to the promotion of tolerance of  diversity and prevention of racist violence in Greece which is realized in collaboration with the Greek Council for Refugees).

Follows the  video-testimony of the young victim.

Η παρούσα έκθεση αποτελείται από δύο μέρη: Το πρώτο μέρος αφορά τα ποσοτικά και ποιοτικά αποτελέσματα της καταγραφής περιστατικών ρατσιστικής βίας, μετά από συνέντευξη με τα θύματα, από οργανώσεις που συμμετέχουν στο Δίκτυο Καταγραφής Περιστατικών Ρατσιστικής Βίας. Το δεύτερο μέρος εστιάζει στις θέσεις του Δικτύου σχετικά με τις αντιδράσεις και πρωτοβουλίες της Πολιτείας για την αντιμετώπιση της ρατσιστικής βίας, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των νομοθετικών πρωτοβουλιών που οδηγήθηκαν σε υιοθέτηση.

Hatha Yoga & Pilates Studio holds a special Easter event at 7:15PM, on Wednesday, April 24th. Come to attend a two-hour yoga class, by the instructors of our studio. The session is open to students of all ability levels. After all, the point of this class is its great cause.

METApolis and Friends of Monde's invite you to their Easter Bazaar, which will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2013, at METApolis area with a view to supporting the hospital and the school of the Monde village of Uganda in Africa. At the bazaar, amongst other things you will find traditional items of Ugandan culture, gifts and local products as well as handicrafts made by children and Friends of Monde, such as paintings, decorations, cookies, Easter candles etc. Photographs, shot by the members of METApolis photographers team, will also be available for sale at the bazaar while videos and pictures from Monde village will be projected. Friends of Monde will be there to discuss and share their experiences from Monde with you.
