Every Easter, children and adults alike hold candles…something that could mean a lot more if it helped save a child.

This year, Doctors of the World are launching a new series of handmade candles for children…and for those who feel like children, all made by volunteers.

With the symbolic price of five euros, these unique candles could help save a child’s life. The money gathered will cover the medical and medicinal needs of the children our volunteers care for in our polyclinics all over Greece.

You can support the work of Doctors’ of the World by purchasing one of these handmade candles for you or your children, your friends or your coworkers.

The MdM stand will operate from the 29th March 2012 until the 12th April 2012, )9:00 untill 18:00 opposite Korai Square, at Panepistimio metro station. You will also find more information on our work there, as well as Easter cards, candles, mugs, hats, t-shirts and pens.
