The Pharmacy of Doctors of the World has been operating since 1991 and is housed in the same building as the Polyclinic and the offices of the Organization. From then until now it regularly provides free medication to more than 50 patients per day, refugees, immigrants, and Greeks, with limited access to healthcare. The Pharmacy is framed by experienced volunteer pharmacists of the Organization who daily offer their services. It also has a wide range of medicines, addressing the needs of most patients who visit the Polyclinic. The medical material comes from donations from members of the Organization and companies in the sector. The pharmacy is an essential part of organization's missions in Greece and abroad. |
