With your help, Médecins du Monde Greece has managed to deliver more than 80 tons of humanitarian aid of essentials, food, medicine and health supplies to those affected by the Ukrainian crisis. To date, a total of 19 missions accompanied by MdM-Greece staff have been carried out in 6 different regions of Ukraine (Chernivtsi, Lviv, Odessa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Donetsk)

However, the need to intensify our activities is immense.
Our next mission will take place in the city of Odessa where we have been since September, having supported more than 400 women and children in the Odessa Charity Foundation “Way Home” structures. The purpose of the mission is to support the local health system and to support the functioning of the shelter centres for displaced children and women. Since the beginning of the crisis, more than 100,000 internally displaced people have fled to Odessa, mainly from the eastern regions of Ukraine, and currently around 30,000 people are residing in the city of Odessa. Local health and welfare structures are facing serious challenges as they have to respond to the immediate needs of tens of thousands of people.
Médecins du Monde is appealing for the collection of specific items for Odessa by 18 November 2022. All items can be delivered to the headquarters of Médecins du Monde, 12 Sapfous Street, 105 53 Athens, from 9:00 to 19:00. For further information: 210.32.13.150
